I had the incredible honor of being invited to speak at Memorial Hermann to a remarkable group known as AIDE—Allies for Improving the Disability Experience. During our time together, we shared meaningful conversations around employee inclusion, workplace accessibility, and how employers can foster more supportive, inclusive environments for individuals with disabilities. The room was filled with open hearts, insightful dialogue, and so many genuine smiles—and yes, plenty of hugs too! It was truly inspiring to witness a shared commitment to making real change. A heartfelt thank you to Memorial Hermann and everyone involved for creating such a welcoming space and for allowing me the opportunity to share my story and passion for disability advocacy.
